Integrate CCTV Analogue Surveillance into Digital IP Surveillance
The LevelOne FCS-8004 Analogue Capture Card enables users to integrate an existing analogue surveillance system into a digital IP based surveillance system without the need to fully upgrade the already installed security system.
Together with the free bundled software, IP CamSecure Lite, the FCS-8004 is able to capture, convert and manage any analogue surveillance system into a digital surveillance system. The software also allows the management of both analogue and digital surveillance systems on the same system.
CCTV Analogue cameras can now be incorporated into a digital IP based surveillance system through this capture card and the software included. This is the perfect solution where a traditional security system is embracing the new IP based digital surveillance system technology.
The FCS-8004 provides connectivity to four analogue cameras with a two channel audio input to a new IP based digital surveillance system that is accessible remotely over the Internet and locally over the Intranet.
The FCS-8004 analogue capture card is able to capture high resolution images in both NTSC and PAL format in maximum frame rates of 60 and 50 frames per second respectively. With MPEG4 compression, image data is compressed for maximum video streaming capability over the Internet and for capturing on a storage drive for later analysis.
The FCS-8004 uses an advanced Philips 7134 9-bit Analogue-to-Digital Converter video chipset which provides better resolution than any other current popular chipsets.
It is also possible to capture up to 16 Analogue cameras with 8 audio channels by scaling to 4 capture cards in one system. This feature enables large scale CCTV environments to be fully integrated into a digital IP based surveillance system with little effort and cost.
The card measures 150mm x 100mm and fits easily into open card slots on the motherboard of the surveillance controlling computer.
LevelOne recommends the deployment of the LevelOne FNS-7000B Network Attached Storage into the surveillance system for storage of captured images and video.
